The lightweight and narrow bodywork is shaped into the VITPILEN 401´s progressive design and intelligently allows for seamless movement while riding. WHEELS 17" bronze anodised spoked wheels with electric yellow VITPILEN detailing are a design highlight of the VITPILEN 401. The wheels offer a unique sense of style and are also very robust, offering premium reliability on unpredictable and challenging urban terrain. THE SPECS ENGINE & GEARBOX The VITPILEN 401 is powered by a modern 373cc single-cylinder engine that is remarkably compact. With 37Nm of torque from low down in the RPM range and a 6-speed gearbox, it is perfect for urban riding. The electronic fuel injection is operated by a ride-by-wire system and delivers a sharp, but refined power. With a peak horsepower of 32kW (44hp), the VITPILEN 401 is accessible to A2 licence holders, while its lightweight construction means the power-to-weight ratio will also excite more experienced riders. EXHAUST The exhaust system on the VITPILEN 401 comprises of two parts, a pre-silencer made from steel, and a final silencer, which is made from aluminium and finished off with a raw look and the iconic Husqvarna logo. PURE INTENSITY   The TC 250 maintains the top step in the 250 cc 2-stroke motocross class. Featuring an improved 2-stroke engine, delivering the highest level of performance in its class. Paired with new bodywork for 2019, along with further-refined ergonomics and a reduced seat height, the TC 250 promises comfort and control in all riding conditions. ENGINE The 250cc 2-stroke engine is the ultimate combination of unsurpassed power and lightweight construction. The simplicity and low maintenance cost of the 2-stroke motor makes it a favorite amongst motocross riders. CYLINDER The 66.4mm bore cylinder features an innovative power valve system which delivers smooth and controlled power throughout the RPM range. This can be further customized by simply changing two springs supplied and altering the power delivery for different track conditions or rider preference. CRANKCASE The lightweight die-cast engine casings are developed to accommodate the shaft arrangements in the optimal position centralizing oscillating mass and improving ride-ability. Additionally the counter balancer shaft is integrated in a very compact manner without compromising the overall design. COUNTER BALANCER SHAFT The TC 250 features an innovative laterally mounted counter balancer shaft. This shaft significantly reduces engine vibration, resulting in a smoother and more comfortable ride. FRAME Precision engineered for an exact balance of stiffness and torsional flex, the frame features an increase in longitudinal rigidity, improving rider feedback, handling response, energy absorption and straight-line stability. The frame is finished off in a premium blue powder coating and standard frame protectors for superior protection and durability. CARBON FIBRE SUBFRAME The use of carbon fiber strips away weight, improving weight distribution and bringing weight closer to the center of gravity for precise handling. The composition of the material is 30% carbon fiber and the overall 3-piece construction is remarkably light but also very strong for an overall weight of 3.1 pounds. Additionally, a specific rigidity has been calculated in the component for optimal handling and rider ergonomics. EXHAUST HEADER The header pipe on the 2019 TC 250 is narrower than previous models and is designed using innovative 3D modelling. The result is a refined shape with more ground clearance, making it less susceptible to damage while also improving performance. WHEELS AND TYRES Black high-strength alloy rims by D.I.D are coupled to CNC machined hubs using lightweight spokes and silver anodized aluminum nipples. Fitted are Dunlop MX-3S Motocross tyres that feature the proven "block-within-a-block" design for more progressive cornering and superior grip. WP AER 48 SUSPENSION The 48 mm forks feature new settings and are easily adjusted via a single air pressure pre-load valve, located on the left leg, as well as easy access clickers which adjust damping and compression. Additionally, the air pump needed to adjust air pressure is included standard. WP DCC REAR SUSPENSION The WP DCC Rear Suspension features a new main piston and 300 mm rear wheel travel. With a pressure balance inside the shock, damping is consistent, which results in superior comfort and handling. The rear shock is fully adjustable and matched to a linkage system supporting a specific geometry to deliver maximum traction and with optimum shock absorption. MAGURA HYDRAULIC CLUTCH The reliable, high quality and German-made, MAGURA clutch system is near maintenance-free. This guarantees even wear and perfect modulation in all conditions, with constantly compensated modulation and play on the lever, so the pressure point and clutch remains consistent in cold or hot conditions as well as over time. PRO TAPER HANDLEBAR Featuring fatigue resistance at a minimal weight, PRO TAPER handlebars are fitted to the entire 2019 Husqvarna Motorcycles motocross range, and are manufactured to exacting standards to deliver exceptional rider comfort and control. MIKUNI CARBURRETTOR The TC 250 features a 38 mm flat slide MIKUNI TMX carburettor, which delivers a smooth and controllable power with optimal performance over the entire RPM range. DDS CLUTCH The TC 250 features a damped diaphragm steel clutch or DDS, using a diaphragm spring instead of the more common coil spring setup. This makes for lighter clutch action and allows for a damping system that increases both traction and durability.

REVOLUTIONARY 2-STROKE   A revolution in 2-stroke technology, the TE 250i takes the simple, low maintenance 2-stroke and makes it even simpler. With the addition of electronic fuel injection, fueling is self adjusted meaning the need for jetting changes at different altitudes and temperatures is eliminated ensuring a perfectly controlled power delivery every time. Additionally, 2-stroke oil is pumped independently at regulated ratios eliminating the need to pre-mix fuel and oil meaning less preperation time and more time on the trail. ENGINE The TE 250i features a pioneering electronic fuel injection system. This comprises of a set of fuel injectors positioned at the transfer ports which deliver the ideal amount of fuel to the engine in every condition. This not only reduces fuel consumption and emissions but also delivers a clean & smoother power delivery giving the loved 2-stroke a new edge. CYLINDER The cylinder design includes two inlet positions located on the transfer ports at the rear of the cylinder where a pair fuel injectors are mounted. The injectors deliver fuel downwards into the transfer port guaranteeing excellent atomisation with the air travelling upward to the combustion chamber. This ensures efficient combustion resulting in low fuel consumption and emissions. THROTTLE BODY The TE 250i uses a 39 mm throttle body which regulates the amount of air entering the engine via a butterfly operated by dual throttle cables connected to a new handlebar throttle assembly. Unlike 4-stroke throttle bodies, fuel is not introduced at this point but rather 2-stroke oil is mixed with the air entering the engine to lubricate the crankshaft, cylinder & piston.Additionally, a throttle position sensor (TPS) relays airflow data to the ECU which in turn calculates the amount of oil and fuel delivered to the engine while a bypass screw regulates the idling speed and a cold start device opens a bypass providing more air for cold starts. OIL TANK & PUMP The TE 250i features an electronic oil pump which feeds vital 2-stroke oil into the engine . The pump is located just below the oil tank and feeds the oil via the throttle body meaning the oil is not mixed with the fuel eliminating the need for pre-mixing as on traditional 2-stroke engines. The pump is controlled by the EMS and delivers the optimal amount of oil according to the current RPM and engine load reducing waste as well as excessive smoke being transmitted from the exhaust. The oil tank is located beneath the fuel tank and is connected to a filler hose which runs through the upper tube of the frame to a filler cap conveniently located for easy refills. The tank capacity is 0.7 l and is connected to a low level sensor which illuminates notifying the rider when the tank needs refilling. CHROMOLY STEEL FRAME The hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded frame is expertly crafted by WP Performance Systems. The flex character of the frame is specifically tailored to benefit suspension functionality, handling and comfort. while the upper frame tube integrates the oil filler cap and houses a hose which runs down its length to the oil tank for easy access and simple oil filling. The frame fitted with standard frame protectors and an engine protector which mounts directly to the frame guaranteeing superior protection and durability. WP XPLOR 48 The WP Xplor 48 front fork is developed by WP Performance Systems specifically for enduro type riding. The forks consist of an open cartridge layout with a spring in each circuit and split damping functions. WP REAR SHOCK The WP DCC rear shock is designed to provide advanced damping characteristics while keeping to a compact and lightweight design. With a pressure balance inside the shock, the stroke is more seamless resulting in greater rider comfort and handling while the corrugated outer contour of the reservoir improves cooling.
